Industrialist Ratan Tata breathed his last on October 9, 2024. Several Bollywood celebrities like Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Shraddha Kapoor, and others shared condolences and paid tribute to him.

Industrialist Ratan Tata, former Chairman of Tata Group and Tata Sons, is no more. He passed away at the age of 86 on October 9, 2024. The news of his demise left everyone saddened, as India lost a visionary. After his demise, several Bollywood celebrities offered their condolences and paid tribute to the late industrialist. Many celebrities mourned Ratan Tata's loss from Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Boney Kapoor, and Sanjay Dutt to Shraddha Kapoor and Lara Dutta.
Salman Khan took to his official X handle and penned, "Deeply saddened by the passing of Mr. Ratan Tata (sic)." On the other hand, Ajay Devgn mentioned, "The world mourns the loss of a visionary. Ratan Tata's legacy will forever inspire generations. His contributions to India and beyond are immeasurable. We are deeply grateful. Rest in peace, Sir (sic)."

Mourning Ratan Tata's loss, Sanjay Dutt stated, "India has lost a true visionary today. He was a beacon of integrity and compassion whose contributions went beyond business, impacting countless lives. May his soul find peace (sic)."
Offering condolences, Riteish Deshmukh penned, "Deeply saddened to know that Shri #RatanTata ji is no more. Condolences to the family and loved ones. Rest In Glory Sir (sic)." Shraddha Kapoor, too, paid tribute to him and wrote, "Sir Ratan Tata showed us that true success is measured by the lives we touch. Grateful for his inspiration, and for teaching us to lead with kindness. True legacies are built on what we leave behind… Thank you for everything, Sir (sic)."
Ratan Tata breathed his last at 11:30 pm at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. He was been in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) since Monday (October 7). Tata had earlier assured everyone that there was no cause for concern as he was undergoing a check-up for age-related medical conditions.
