In 2004, industrialist and philanthropist Ratan Tata produced a romantic psychological thriller, which happens to be the only film he ever produced in his entire career. The movie, titled Aetbaar, starred Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role, alongside John Abraham and Bipasha Basu. Directed by Vikram Bhatt, Tata co-produced the film with Jatin Kumar. The association between him and Big B goes beyond this film, as they have also collaborated on numerous humanitarian projects over the years.
Ratan Tata was reportedly admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai after his blood pressure dropped drastically on October 9, 2024. He was being treated at the hospital, where he breathed his last. The announcement of his passing, made late last night, shook the nation.
