RARKPK: Alia Bhatt hints at Khela Hobe’s inclusion at Dhindora Baje Re launch

After three hit numbers, Tum Kya Mile, What Jhumka and Ve Kamleya, Alia Bhat and Ranveer Singh came to Kolkata to launch a brand new song, Dhindora Baaje, from Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Along with two Bengali actors Tota Roy Chowdhury, Alia and Ranveer interacted with the media in a press conference on Monday.

Alia and Ranveer walked in right on time and the actress took time to address the media in Bengali. “Nomoshkar Kolkata. Kemon acho Shobai? Tomader shobaike onek dhonyobad ekhane ashar jonyo. Aaj ami khub excited. Asha kori tomader shobar amar notun gaan Dhindora khub bhalo laagbe (Hello Kolkata. How are you all? I thank you all for coming here today. I am very excited. I hope you all will love the new song, Dhindora.),” she said. 

However, the actress had to restart a few times as she confessed that she ‘forgot her lines’. “I am sorry. I practiced this a lot since yesterday but after coming here, and seeing your faces, I forgot the lines,” she said. Despite Ranveer’s jokes, she finally impressed everyone with her Bengali. 

Dhindora Baaje Re dropped at 2:15 pm and the four actors and actresses tackled questions from media. While answering a question, Alia hinted that her already famous dialogue, ‘Khela hobe’ stays in the film. “There were a few minor suggestions from the censor board, which we respectfully obeyed. The bit that you are suggesting (Khela Hobe) is still there,” she said. 

Ranveer and Alia also danced with What Jhumka, not once but twice.

Meanwhile, Tota and Churni praised Alia and Ranveer to no end. Tota called Alia an ‘instictive’ actress and said Ranveer’s acting reminded him of Stanislavski’s method acting. “He would make Konstantin Stanislavski proud with his 'method acting'. To this, Ranveer joked, “Yes, I have my methods. I go to the gym, I do squats and cardio. That’s my method,” and everyone burst into laughter.”
