Ranvir Shorey reveals his interaction with ex-wife Konkona Sen Sharma is limited to co-parenting their son Haroon

It has been a long time since Ranvir Shorey and Konkona Sen Sharma have parted ways, but they continue to stay cordial parents to their son Haroon and that’s about it. The ex-couple, Ranvir hinted, are not in talking terms, and do not discuss anything out of their co-parenting for Haroon. The veteran actor is a part of Anil Kapoor-hosted Bigg Boss OTT 3, which is where he made the revelation.

Ranvir speaks to Armaan Malik

Ranvir was heard discussing the same with Bigg Boss OTT 3 co-contestant Armaan Malik. Armaan, a YouTuber by profession, is famous for having two wives, both best friends living under the same roof with their four kids. Ranvir appeared to be missing Haroon and was discussing the same with Armaan, which is when the latter asked the question – what about Konkona?

Haroon, the only reason that Ranvir-Konkona talk?

Ranvir and Konkona, the former hinted, do not talk beyond co-parenting Haroon. He revealed that he lives alone most of the time, with his 13-year-old kid staying with him half the time, and with Konkana the other half. While responding to Armaan’s question about whether he and Konkana speak, Ranvir also said, “Matlab bacche ke liye jo hota hai utna hi (we only talk with regard to our child).”

Ever since he first came to Bigg Boss OTT 3, Ranvir has been stating that the reason he is on the show is because he wanted to do something different. Being out of work as an actor and having his son be in US with his ex-wife Konkona, Ranvir, who was getting a call to be on the show every year, decided to finally give it a try this season.

Ranvir-Konkona relationship

Ranvir and Konkona started dating in 2007 and were married three years later, in 2010. They welcomed their child Haroon a year later, in 2011. By 2015 though, the couple parted ways.

On the work front, Konkona was last seen in Killer Soup, a series on Netflix. She is also a part of Anurag Basu’s Metro… In Dino. Ranvir’s last on-screen appearance was in Salman Khan’s Tiger 3.
