Ranvir Shorey not on Bigg Boss OTT 3 to revive his acting career, Watch his full statement

Right before entering Bigg Boss OTT 3, Ranvir Shorey joked (and spilled slight truth) that he has not been getting acting offers or else he would not consider the reality show. After entering, Ranvir's conversation with Shivani Kumari went viral. In this conversation, he told Shivani that he plays hero, villain or whatever role he finds, further smiling painfully while stating that he wouldn't be on the show if he got (good) acting offers. Ranvir has been constantly worried about not getting offers, which everybody has assured him he now will. The actor never clearly stated that he wanted to revive his acting career, which he clarified in the upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar episode.

What exactly happened?

A journalist was talking to Naezy and stating that even Ranvir was on the show to revive his career. On hearing so, Ranvir went, "Oh, shots fired!," adding that he never said he's on Bigg Boss OTT 3 to revive his career. The actor further shared that people start beating each other up over the smallest of things on the show and thus, the journalist must think twice before making a statement/assumption.

While Ranvir has been craving good roles and stating that he takes up whatever he finds, while also admitting that he has mostly been out of work (which got him time for the show anyway), the actor never clearly said that he is here to revive his acting career. Although hurt about not being recognized by filmmakers, Ranvir never outrightly said he is using the show to get back to acting. In fact, in a recent episode, he told Armaan Malik that he wants to win the show not for the trophy but the money that comes with it, which is Rs. 25 lakhs.

Lovekesh Kataria was questioned for taking a clean chit in the Vishal Pandey-Kritika Malik matter. Armaan Malik commented on the same stating that some people have a bad habit which they adapted from the outside world and has become a part of the show.

Sai Ketan Rao was questioned for having a non-controversial personality on the show. For that, he explained that he would not fight all the time. Sana Makbul was questioned for her ego and she explained she doesn't have an ego.
