2023 has been a good year for Ranveer Singh. Though he did not feature in plenty of movies, he managed to steal the hearts of Bollywood buffs with his performance in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. To add charm to his career graph, reports suggest that the 38-year-old actor will be honoured at the Red Sea International Film Festival 2023 along with German actress Diane Kruger and veteran Saudi writer and actor Abdullah Al-Sadhan.
The festival will be held from November 30 to December 9 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. “This year we are honouring Ranveer Singh, an icon of Hindi cinema; Diane Kruger, who has delivered us a series of unforgettable characters from Helen of Troy to Tarantino’s Bridget von Hammersmark and affected us with her powerhouse performance of the avenging Angel Katja in Fatih Akin’s In the Fade,” said Mohammed Al-Turki, CEO of the Red Sea Film Foundation in a press statement.

In 2023, Ranveer Singh took the lead in Karan Johar's romantic comedy 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,' sharing the screen with Alia Bhatt. The film raked in a staggering ₹3.5 billion (US$44 million) globally, securing its place among the top-grossing Hindi films of the year. The storyline revolves around Alia and Ranveer, portraying a couple with distinct personalities who opt to dwell with each other's families for three months prior to tying the knot.

If you are a Ranveer Singh fan, then there is a lot in store for you in the coming years. Next year, Ranveer will headline Rohit Shetty’s directorial, Singham Again. He will feature alongside Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn. Actors Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor Khan will also be making a special appearance in it.
Later, Ranveer Singh will headline ‘Don 3’. It is directed by Farhan Akhtar. The release date of the film is not known yet. If reports are to be believed, Kiara Advani, Kriti Sanon and Priyanka Chopra Jonas have been approached to be a part of the film as the leading actress.
Further, Ranveer will also headline the movie ‘Baiju Bawra’ opposite Alia Bhatt. It is being created under the supervision of eminent filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Afterward, Ranveer will also headline Karan Johar’s movie ‘Takht’. Details of this film are not known yet.
