Ranveer Singh remembers Sidhu Moose Wala during RARKPK’s Chandigarh promotions; praises Ammy Virk’s works

Just a day before the theatrical release of popular filmmaker Karan Johar’s directorial, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, superstars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh arrived in Chandigarh to promote the movie.

In Chandigarh today, Alia and Ranveer were welcomed with high energy and spirits. The celebrity duo even danced to the tunes of What Jhumka? - a song from their upcoming movie Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

Later, they candidly even interacted with the people present at the movie’s promotional event. Speaking at the event today, Ranveer Singh lovingly said that he misses the late singer Sidhu Moose Wala and his works.

“One of my favourite artists of all time is Sidhu Moose Wala ji. It is not a secret that I love his music and deeply connect with it. I really miss him. Even today, early in the morning, I started my day with Sidhu paaji’s songs,” said Ranveer to the media persons.

Not only this, but he also appreciated music created by Punjabi singer Ammy Virk.

Ranveer adds, “While filming for 83, I made a ‘friend for life’. He is none other than Ammy Virk. I love him. I’ve never met a person like him. Woh rab da banda hai! He has such a large heart. I’m grateful that I got to be friends with him. I’m really happy for all his recent successes.”

At the promotional event, Alia Bhatt chose to don her purple saree while Ranveer Singh opted to don his white jacket with white trousers.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is an ambitious project directed by Karan Johar and features a terrific star cast including Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi as well.
