Ranveer Singh confesses eating with forks and knives is overrated: “Joh swaad aata hai haath se khaane ka naa..”

Ranveer Singh has added a new accomplishment to his already growing list as he recently turned host for a prime-time quiz show The Big Picture. The Simmba star was seen in a promo of the show calling eating with forks and knives overrated as a contestant said that she’d take her family to a fine dining restaurant as they have never done this before.

The actor asked the contestant who had won Rs. 10,000 during the game what she’d do with the money. She promptly replied she’d take for a nice dinner as her family has never been to a restaurant where one eats with forks and knives.

Hearing this Ranveer confessed that he found eating with forks, knives, and tucked napkins overrated and added, “Joh swaad aata hai haath se khaane ka naa..” and was cut off by the contestant who made him laugh saying, “Humein pata hai, par jaa ke toh ek baar dekhna chaiye naa.”

Ranveer’s show is pictorial quiz where contestants are asked questions based on an image and are given four options along with three lifelines to pick the correct answer. With the show the actor has entered the leagues of Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan who have been hosts of popular quiz shows on TV.
