Bang bang! Superstars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh arrived in Delhi today to launch Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’s latest soundtrack – Ve Kamleya – sung melodiously by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal.

At the song launch event, Alia and Ranveer talked about working in Karan Johar’s directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani in great depth. During a conversation with the media persons, Alia and Ranveer were asked what the most special moment for them on the set of the movie was.

Both Ranveer and Alia confidently said that they felt “really special and honoured” to work with renowned stars namely Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi.

Alia Bhatt said, “Ranveer Singh is a great mimic. He used to meet Dharam ji in the same manner in which he (Dharmendra) used to meet people.”

Ranveer Singh agreed with Alia and added, “Dharam ji is like a walking-talking ball of love. He is all hearts. He is so emotional and has the biggest heart. I’ll always cherish working with him in the film. It was an honour and privilege to work with him. It was a dream to collaborate with such a fine artist.”

Alia and Ranveer even lauded Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi’s working style while they were shooting on the set of the film. Alia confessed that “Jaya ma’am was always active and ready to work on the set of the movie. She hardly ever sat on the set despite having hundreds of chairs lined up for her.” Alia even said that “Shabana ma’am has a great memory and acting skills.”

Alia and Ranveer even confessed that they used to carefully observe how Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi performed on the set of the film and learn from it.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is slated to be released theatrically on July 28.
