India's Got Latent, headlined by comedian Samay Raina, has been the hottest topic since its first episode aired. After making waves with Rakhi Sawant, Deepak Kalal, Bharti Singh, and others, the show has now sparked controversy with its latest episode. The guest in question is Ranveer Allahbadia, popularly known as BeerBiceps. The content creator, who received an award from PM Narendra Modi last year for his work in content creation, made offensive comments about a contestant, sparking backlash. In response, Ranveer has now issued an apology.

Ranveer Allahbadia’s Comment on India’s Got Latent

Ranveer Allahbadia appeared as a judge on the latest episode of India’s Got Latent alongside Samay Raina, Ashish Chanchlani, and Apoorva Mukhija, aka The Rebel Kid. The show’s format involves judges roasting contestants to test their improv skills. During this, Ranveer asked a contestant, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day or join them to finish it once and for all?” The remark even shocked Samay Raina, who responded, “What the f*?”**

The comment quickly went viral, drawing severe backlash from netizens. The uproar even led Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis to react, and a complaint was filed against the show’s makers, Ranveer, Samay, and Apoorva. Samay Raina has since issued an apology on X (formerly Twitter), captioning his post: "I shouldn’t have said what I said on India’s Got Latent. I’m sorry."

Ranveer Allahbadia’s Apology

“My comment was not just inappropriate; it wasn’t even funny. Comedy is not my forte. I am just here to say sorry. Many of you asked if this is how I wish to use my platform—obviously, it is not. I won’t provide any context, justification, or reasoning for what happened. I am simply here to apologize. I personally had a lapse in judgment. It was not cool on my part,” said Ranveer Allahbadia in his video message.

He also addressed concerns from fans regarding his content, especially since he has hosted renowned personalities and leaders on his podcast. He stated, “The podcast is watched by people of all ages. I don’t take that responsibility lightly. Family is the last thing I would ever disrespect. I need to use this platform better—that has been my biggest learning from this experience. I promise to improve. I have asked the makers to remove the insensitive sections from the video. All I can say is sorry. I hope you can forgive me as a human being.”
