Director Santosh Singh's web show Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond is scheduled for an OTT release soon. The series stars Jimmy Shergill, Lara Dutta, Ashutosh Rana and Ashish Vidyarthi in pivotal roles. Helmed by Santosh Singh, Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond is set to premiere on JioCienma. When the web series' trailer dropped online, the makers confirmed that the show's release date is April 25, 2024.

The trailer of Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond shed light on the Balakot airstrike, India's largest defence operation. This series has been mounted on a big scale and will take the audience inside the behind-the-scenes of modern warfare. Although it is a high-octane fictional drama, the series is inspired by some real-life events.

The Santosh Singh directorial features Jimmy Shergill and Lara Dutta in the lead roles. Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond also stars Ashutosh Rana and Ashish Vidyarthi as pivotal characters. While Lara will be seen as a power broker in the show, Ashish will essay the character of an NSA Chief.

Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond will primarily focus on the Balakot airstrike and what goes into modern warfare. According to the makers, the series "decodes the modern warfare that isn’t simply fought on physical borders but transcends to the domain of social media, digital tactics and covert political moves that have the power to reshape geo-politics."
