Next year, Rani Mukerji will be featured in the upcoming film, Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway. Now, the film has a new release date and will hit theatres on March 3, 2023. The movie's initial release date was set for May 2022. The release was nevertheless delayed.

Ashima Chibber directed the movie Mrs. The events of Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway is based on real ones. An Indian immigrant mother fought the Norwegian foster care system and the local court system to get back custody of her children. This battle is chronicled in the movie.

Mrs. Chatterjee Vs. Norway is produced by Zee Studios and Emmay Entertainment (Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and Nikkhil Advani).

Rani's autobiography will also be published in the same month as the movie. Rani's memoir will be published on her birthday, March 21, 2023. It will be a deeply personal and completely honest account of her inspiring journey.

Ashima Chibber has helmed Mrs. Chatterjee Vs. Norway, which is described as an unseen story about a mother's journey against a whole country.

On her birthday in 2021, Rani unveiled the movie and referred to it as one of the most significant films of her 25-year career. She said, according to the Hindu, that she started her career with Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat (1997), which was a woman-centric movie, and ironically, in her 25th year, she's announcing a film that is likewise focused on a woman's courage to battle against all odds and take on a country.

Meanwhile, Rani was last seen in Bunty Aur Babli 2, in which she reprised her iconic titular role after several years. The film, also starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari in the lead roles, reunited Rani with Saif Ali Khan on the big screen. However, the comedy film turned out to be a box-office failure.
