The movie also secured him a proud win in the Best Actor category during the Filmfare Awards in Gujarat. The toxic relationship of a dynamic father-son duo is receiving immense love from the Indian audience as the movie bagged the Top 4 spot even after nearly 5 days of its premiere on the streaming giant Netflix in terms of viewership.

Animal, which is still in its first week of release on Netflix soars high with over 6.2 million streams on Netflix. Releasing in multiple languages like Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada – Animal broke records after it surpassed 20 million watch hours according to the report shared by Netflix. The promising OTT debut has stirred a wave of enthusiasm for the entire cast and makers. It added another celebratory moment for Ranbir Kapoor as he shared the Best Actor Filmfare Award for Animal with his wife Alia Bhatt, who won in the Best Actress category for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
