The new song Papa Meri Jaan from Animal is out, which is a soul-stirring track based on the onscreen relationship between Anil Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor, who play father and son in the film. The song shows RK's character from childhood and how he always looked up to his father and longed for his love despite suffering from trauma. Interestingly, the child actor who plays the younger version of Ranbir has a Laal Singh Chaddha connection.

Who is Ahmad Ibn Umar?
As per reports, Ahmad Ibn Umar, a 10-year-old Kashmiri boy, was born and raised in the Zaldagar area of central Srinagar. His mom is a homemaker, while his dad is into business. He made his screen debut in the 2019 movie Notebook. When he was just four years old, Ahmad started trying out for film roles. He revealed in one of his interviews with a local media outlet that, despite failing several times in auditions, he never gave up. The child actor made an appearance in the music video for Bas Ek Tera Main Hoke in 2021. He has also been featured in other TV commercials.

Talking about Animal, the film is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and also stars Bobby Deol as the main antagonist and Rashmika Mandanna as Ranbir's onscreen wife. The film also features Triptii Dimri, whose role is yet to be revealed. The film explores the tumultuous relationship between a father and a son. It is slated to hit the big screen on December 1, 2023.
