Ramayana is said to be Nitesh Tiwari's ambitious project. The mythological film will feature Ranbir Kapoor in a pivotal role. While Alia Bhatt was reported to play the role of Goddess Sita, Sai Pallavi has now reportedly come on board for the same role. Amid all the buzz around Nitesh's Ramayan, an X user has confirmed that Ranbir's Ramayana will go on floors in the summer of 2024 after a brief interaction with the actor.
Ramayana to go on floors in 2024?
An X user shared his experience of meeting Ranbir Kapoor in the immigration queue at the airport. He happened to briefly interact with the Animal star, who revealed that his upcoming project is Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana.
In a series of tweets, the user mentioned Ranbir confirmed to him that his next project is Ramayana. As mentioned by the netizen, the film's shoot is likely to commence in summer 2024. However, the user refrained from divulging more details about the project and its star cast. According to his tweet, it seems the star cast is extremely good.
Ranbir Kapoor on acting break
Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor has taken a break from acting for six months. The actor was recently seen as Ranvijay Singh in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal, which is the talk of the town. While Animal is successfully running in cinemas, Ranbir has taken a few months off to spend quality time with his mom Neetu Kapoor, wife Alia Bhatt, and daughter Raha Kapoor.

For those who are unaware, Ranbir's recently released movie, Animal, has emerged as a box office winner. The film has minted around Rs 458 crore at the box office. As far as the global collection is concerned, the Vanga directorial has raced past Rs 700 crore at the worldwide box office.
Apart from Ramayana, Ranbir also has Sandeep's Animal Park, and Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra 2 and 3 lined up in the pipeline.
