Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol are no less than brothers! Nowadays, the duo is promoting their upcoming ‘adult-rated’ movie Animal, which is expected to hit the theatres on December 1. Recently, the two popular celebrities graced a Spotify-sponsored event in Mumbai wherein they entertained the crowd by dancing to the tunes of Animal’s songs. After dancing to the foot-tapping number, Ranbir Kapoor took a jibe at the music company’s premium plan. Here’s what happened next.

During a fun interaction with the Spotify team, Ranbir Kapoor asked the audience at the location whether they were satisfied with the music company charging a premium on their app. Lifting up one of his eyebrows, he said, “So everyone out here is a premium member?” The crowd started laughing out loud.
Ranbir continued, “These days they (Spotify) are asking for membership every month. You have to put in your details... but I am fine. I work under Alia (Bhatt; his wife) family plan, toh mera free aa jata hai. I am just saying she has to put in her details every month. So, is it an India problem or a Spotify problem?” The crowd started laughing again.
Hearing this, the Spotify team recommended Ranbir Kapoor to opt for the annual plan of subscription to ease out monthly woes. Bobby Deol then said that he has an annual plan and does not face any trouble. Ranbir Kapoor quickly gazed at him and asked him whether he could get access to his plan. Bobby said to Ranbir, “Yes, you can. You are family now.”
The video is trending online on social media now. One X user said, “Ranbir just said what our heart feels.” Another X user said, “Same Ranbir same.”
