Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt embraced parenthood in 2022. They welcomed their first child, daughter Raha, on November 6 last year. In a recent Zoom interaction with fans, Ranbir spoke about his paternity break and revealed his baby girl's first words. The actor mentioned that she is trying to speak words like 'Pa and Ma'. Kapoor added that Raha has become more expressive.
Ranbir Kapoor reveals Raha's first words
While interacting with fans, Ranbir got candid about his bond with Raha. The actor also revealed, "She is crawling. She is recognising. She is giving so much love, and she is trying to speak words like Pa and Ma. It’s a beautiful time to be around her, and I am going to cherish this forever."
Once his next film Animal releases, Kapoor has also decided to take a 6-month break from acting. In the interaction, Ranbir confirmed that he won't be committing to any film after the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial. The reason behind the same is Ranbir wishes to dedicate more time to his daughter.
The Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar actor admitted that he wasn't able to spend much time with Raha for a few months after her birth. The actor was busy fulfilling his professional commitments.
Ranbir Kapoor's work front
Ranbir has had three releases in the last year. The actor returned to movies after four years of Sanju with Shamshera with Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor. Later, he starred in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra, which became one of the most successful films of 2022. Earlier this year, the actor was seen in Luv Ranjan's Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar with Shraddha Kapoor. The film worked well at the box office.
Next, RK has Sandeep's Animal lined up for release. He will be seen sharing screen space with Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol in the movie. It is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 1, 2023. Ranbir and Rashmika's Animal will lock horns with Vicky Kaushal's Sam Bahadur at the box office. The film is directed by Meghna Gulzar and also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra.
