It was earlier reported that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued a summon to Ranbir Kapoor and requested him to appear before them for questioning on Friday in the matter concerning the Mahadev gaming app. According to reports, the actor who appeared in the app's advertising received a sizable payment. According to the investigation agency, this sum was acquired by criminal activity.

The reports revealed that Ranbir has been requested by the ED to appear at the agency's Raipur, Chhattisgarh, headquarters on October 6. The ED is apparently looking into the matter of 14–15 additional stars and celebrities, and they will supposedly be called in shortly. “Ranbir Kapoor may not be part of conspiracy but very important to understand the scam,” the source revealed.

Ranbir Kapoor NOT summoned by ED

It appears that the claims were wrong, though, since a fresh report stated that he was called not as an accused person but rather to determine his knowledge of the source of the money that he got while promoting the betting app.

In the latest development, a source claimed that Ranbir Kapoor had been called in to learn more about the betting industry's business dealings. He has not yet been called as an accused at this time. It's critical to probe him regarding his awareness of the origins of the money that he received. It could reveal the promoters' and their association's plans.

“Ranbir Kapoor may not be part of a conspiracy but very important to understand the scam,” the source further told News18.

The investigation against the Mahadev Book app is currently in process. After they attended the UAE wedding of Sourabh Chandrakar, the promoter of the Mahadev Book App, several other Bollywood celebrities have come to light. Tiger Shroff, Sunny Leone, Bhagyashree, Neha Kakkar, Atif Aslam, Ali Asgar, Vishal Dadlani, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Elli AvrRam, Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Kriti Kharbanda, Nushrratt Bharuccha, and Sukhwinder Singh are some further names.
