Bheemla Nayak starring Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati in the lead was one of the most anticipated movie releases from South India and the movie did not disappoint. Following its reception and reactions, Rana Daggubati took to social media and thanked the audience as well as fans.
The actor also shared his love and appreciation to the makers of the movie, writer Trivikram Srinivas, director Saagar K Chandra and his co-star, Pawan Kalyan.
The actor used a photo of him as his character Daniel "Danny" Shekar, dressed in black, holding sunglasses and lighting a cigarette.
The movie has received praise since its release on February 25 from the fans and critics, for finding a spot of its own, considering it is the remake of the hit Malayalam movie Ayyappanum Koshiyum starring Biju Menon and Prithviraj Sukumaran and directed by the late Sachi
According to Times of India, the movie collected around Rs 36.73 crores on its opening day from Andhra Pradesh and other territories. The movie is also doing well overseas, with it collecting $378K from 343 locations in the United States according to Entertainment Industry Tracker, Ramesh Bala.
Among many of the positives of the movie, fans are also delighted with the background score and music from the movie, which is composed by S. Thaman. The movie also has cinematography by Ravi K. Chandran and Naveen Nooli as editor.
Backed by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments, the movie also feature Nithya Menen, Samyuktha Menon, Samuthirakani, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Raghu Babu and Teja Kakamanu in supporting roles. The movie also has a cameo performance by comedian Brahmanandam.
While Daggubati is receiving big praise for his role as the ex-Havildar who locks horns with the Kalyan’s policeman, he is also working on the period drama Virata Parvam, which is written and directed by Venu Udugula.
