Ramarao on Duty team unveils new poster featuring Ravi Teja, here’s when the trailer will be out

All eyes are on Ravi Teja’s upcoming film Ramarao on Duty to revive the star’s career after a series of hits and misses in the recent past. This is the second release of the year for him and he has entrusted the film’s responsibility in the hands of a debutant Sarath Mandava, who has also written the story. Like most of the actor’s films lately, it’s an action entertainer. Divyansha Kaushik and Rajisha Vijayan are cast alongside Ravi Teja in the film produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under SLV Cinemas.

Ramarao on Duty is hitting theatres on July 29 and the makers have announced the film’s trailer launch date today. The trailer will be unveiled later this week on July 16. Announcing the same, the team has also released a poster of Ravi Teja where he is casually sipping black tea donning a green formal shirt. Earlier in the day, they also shared that composer Sam CS is leaving no stone unturned for the background score, teasing audiences all the more.

The film, set during 1995, is based on true incidents. The actioner also marks the comeback of Chirunavvutho, Swayamvaram actor Venu Thottempudi, who features as CI Murali, a crucial role that’ll appear throughout the narrative. The first look of Venu received impressive responses and so did the third single, Naa Peru Seesa, a dance number featuring Anveshi Jain, sung by Shreya Ghoshal and lyricised by Chandrabose.

Other actors in the film include Nasser, Naresh, Pavitra Lokesh, ‘Sarpatta’ John Vijay, Chaitanya Krishna, Tanikella Bharani, Rahul Rama Krishna, Eerojullo Sree, Madhu Sudan Rao and Surekha Vani, to name a few. Sathyan Sooryan has cranked the camera for the film edited by Praveen KL. Sahi Suresh is the art director. Ravi Teja’s banner RT Team Works is associated with the production. SonyLIV has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights.
