Ramachandra Boss & Co is a comedy heist film directed by Haneef Adeni, who is known for action films such as Abrahaminte Santhathikal and The Great Father. The makers have released a lyrical video song ahead of its release, which sees lead actor Nivin Pauly dancing to the peppy song.
The song has a mix of Arabic, English, and Malayalam lyrics, similar to the Arabic Kuthu song from Vijay's Beast , which was composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
The two female leads, Mamitha Baiju and Aarsha Chandini Baiju, stand out thanks to their captivating dance moves. All the actors wear unique attire.
The teaser of Ramachandra Boss & Co
The film's teaser and posters promise an entertaining heist with Nivin's character and his inexperienced crew attempting to rob a palace.
The teaser features humorous exchanges between Vinay Forrt and Nivin as well as exciting chase scenes. It looks like Nivin is returning to the comedy characters that made him popular among family audiences.
The supporting actors include Jaffer Idukki, Ganapathi, Balu Varghese, Vijilesh Karayad, and Roni Abraham.
The music of the film is composed by Midhun Mukundan, who became popular in Mollywood after his work in Mammootty's film, Rorschach. Vishnu Thandassery has handled the camera, while Nishadh Yusuf has done the editing.
Ramachandra Boss & Co to clash with King of Kotha and RDX
Ramachandra Boss & Co was shot in Dubai and marks the reunion of Haneef and Nivin after Mikhael. The film is co-produced by Nivin Pauly's Pauly Jr Pictures and is scheduled to hit theatres during Onam. With this, Ramachandra Boss & Co look set to clash at the box office with two action films, Dulquer Salmaan's King of Kotha and Shane Nigam's RDX, which will release on August 24 and August 25, respectively.
Nivin Pauly needs a box office hit
Meanwhile, Nivin needs a break from his successive box office failures. Despite critical acclaim for films like Padavettu and Thuramukham, he hasn't found commercial success lately.
Saturday Nights, a comedy that he starred in last year, was a box-office disaster. The actor will next be seen in Thaaram, a romantic comedy, and an untitled film by Dijo Jose Antony, which will also be shot in Dubai like Ramachandra Boss & Co.
