Ramabanam OTT release date: Suspense continues over the Gopichand, Dimple Hayati's digital release

Macho hero, Gopicand was going through back-to-back flops in his career and pinned all his hopes on Ramabanam, an action drama directed by Sriwas. Dimple Hayati played the female lead in this film. The action drama opened on May 5th on a grand note but ended as a flop as the film had a bad talk from day one itself.

We at OTTplay reported that the film's OTT rights were grabbed by Sony Liv at a decent price and the film will be out in the first week of June. But sadly, Ramabanam is yet to release on Sony Liv. The noted platform is yet to announce the digital release date and has kept everyone guessing as to when it will be out in the first place.

The same has happened to Akhil Akkineni's Agent as well. The streaming rights of Agent are also with Sony Liv but they are yet to announce the digital release date. The reasons behind the OTT releases of these two big Telugu films are yet unknown. Both films have been released more than a month back and are the most awaited on OTT.

On the other hand, Ramabanam is a mass drama and was narrated in a very outdated manner by director Sriwass who earlier gave two big hits with Gopichand in Lakshyam and Lokyam. Gopichand is a very talented actor and has a good fan following but he is choosing all bad scripts and is tasting failure. 

The star hero is now doing a film titled Bheema in the direction of a debutante. Gopichand will be seen in a cop's role after a long time. We need to see if this film at least clicks at the box office.
