Director Ram Gopal Varma, who is considered one of the pioneers of Indian cinema's new age storytelling and unique direction, last made a cameo appearance in the 2024 Telugu science fiction mythological film Kalki 2898 AD. The director is currently producing the upcoming multilingual film Saaree, which is scheduled to release on April 4. On the sidelines of the film promotion, Ram Gopal Varma spilled some beans on his upcoming films and the projects he is working on.

Ram Gopal Varma has worked with actor Manoj Bajpayee in some of the famous films that stood the test of time, namely Satya and Kaun? In fact, the 1998 film Satya gave Manoj a much-needed break as a performer. The duo has also worked in films like Kaun? and Road.
Recently, the filmmaker revealed that he is all set to collaborate with Manoj Bajpayee for a horror comedy. While the details like title and cast are not yet, Ram Gopal Varma said, “It is a genre that I have not worked before, so that is there with Manoj Bajpayee.”
