Raktabeej: Trailer trended nationally on social media

The trailer of the film Raktabeej, directed by Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, created a buzz within 24 hours of its release. It grabbed the third position on the trending list in X. The Bengali viewers are mesmerized seeing Victor Banerjee, Abir Chatterjee, and Mimi Chakraborty in action.

The trailer, two minutes and 29 seconds in length, took no time to become viral. It was shared by Trade analysts like Taran Adarsh, and Ramesh Bala. And finally, Amitabh Bachchan shared the video and wished the team. And that brought the video to the top trending list. 

The film is based on the Khagragarh incident. Bardhaman's Khagragarh trembled with a large blast on October 2, 2014. It was Mahashtami and the blast took place in a two-storeyed building. More than 50 explosives were retrieved from there. Many people still remember the incident. Raktabeej is based on this true story.

Victor Banerjee plays the President of India, who is a Bengali man. Abir and Mimi are two cops. Anusuya Majumder plays Victor's elder sister. Kanchan Mallik, Ambarish Bhattacharya, Satyam Bhattacharya, Debasish Mondal, and Debalina Kumar play other important roles. The film will be released on October 19.
