A few days ago, we had reported that there were rumours in industry circles about a possible second postponement for Rakshit Shetty’s Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side B, which is currently slated to be in theatres on October 27. According to multiple sources close to the film team, this date will not be met and director Hemanth M Rao and actor-producer Rakshit Shetty will announce a new one shortly. It was speculated that Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side B could be pushed to November 10 to make it a Deepavali release, but that’s not a done deal yet.
Sources tell us that the delay is being attributed to the edit of the film, which is still in process, as Hemanth has not frozen on the final version that he wants to bring to theatres. Several portions of the film that need to be sent for VFX work are also pending. OTTplay had earlier reached out to the team and was told that promotions for Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side B would begin by mid October, with about two weeks to go for the release. But as of today, there’s been no subsequent word and queries on social media have also remained unanswered.
At the moment, a November release is the best bet for Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side B, but the when remains a question mark. We will keep you updated as and when we hear more. Should the team choose to go ahead with a Deepavali release, it will clash with Salman Khan’s Tiger 3. In Kannada, so far Yogaraj Bhat’s Garadi is the only one with a November 10 confirmed release date, although, it is being heard that Duniya Vijay is also eyeing it for his next directorial, Bheema. If Rakshit and co zero in on a Deepavali release, an announcement to confirm the same should happen soon, before that date also becomes too crowded.
