Last week, audiences got a glimpse of a visibly plumper Rakshit Shetty – first for the trailer launch of his next release, 777 Charlie, and then to promote his production Sakutumba Sametha. Rakshit, who has been working on his second film with Hemanth M Rao after Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu, namely sapta Sagaradaache Ello with Rukmini Vasanth, needed to gain a significant amount of weight for a look in the film. In fact, speaking to the media, Rakshit, who is on a schedule break to put on the requisite weight, has said that he needed to pile on 15 kilos and had managed 10 already.

While we’ve seen how Rakshit looks with those additional kilos on him, Hemanth is preparing to reveal the actor’s look from his film’s ’10 Years Later’ portion. The first look of the film of Rakshit as SSE’s Manu was revealed in March last year and now comes the next. “Oh I can’t wait to share this with the world. ‘Ten years later’ look reveal on Monday morning,” tweeted Hemanth, with a blurred out image of what appears to be Rakshit’s look in this segment.

In earlier conversations with the media, Hemanth had revealed that Rakshit's character Manu needs to age in the story that is set in two different timelines of 2010 and 2020. The decade-long gap is justified through Rakshit’s physical transformation. Hemanth had asked Rakshit to beef up in a disciplined manner and not just bloat randomly.

Once Rakshit is done with the release of 777 Charlie, he will return to the set of SSE for a 50-odd day schedule, with which the tam is looking at finishing the film. While the first half was majorly shot in Bengaluru and Shivamogga, the next schedule will take place predominantly in Mangaluru, with a few days’ worth of shoot in Hyderabad as well.
