Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan song Done Kar Do has released. The track sees him plead to the Lord to get his work done. This actor, who plays the role of Lala Kedarnath, struggles to keep pace with his sisters and lover.

Lala, who is there for his sisters all the time, suffers because he can barely make time for his own girlfriend (played by Bhumi Pednekar). This actor is seen singing in a jagrata. He pleads to the higher almighty to help him out through his struggles.

The song starts with a hilarious take to his own song, “Subah se lekar shaam tak.” The popular track from Mohra is currently associated with double meaning jokes. The track in Raksha Bandhan, too, is the one which starts with, “Subah ko bhi, shaam ko bhi… Teri karu main jai jai kaar ji.”

Lala croons the problems which every bhakt/non-bhakt faces with God – he does not solve problems, at least not immediately. Here, Lala complains that despite pleasing lakhs of times, the problem still remains.

From waking up one of his sisters to doing another’s facial, Lala is the ideal brother – one every sister will want in and around their house. Of course, with that also comes the chaos and so, we get a glimpse of that too.

In order to make the song cooler, Himesh Reshammiya is seen singing, “Main lagaayi tumhaari dp apne Insta ke pageon par.” This directly refers to the trend of starting Instagram pages to be noticed by brands and social media influencers for work.

Lala can be seen struggling for the extra money in this track. He is trying to arrange funds for his sister’s wedding and he has five sisters sitting at home. While taking care of them, he forgot about Sapna (Bhumi) who is also upset with him, especially because her father wants to fix her wedding to someone else and Lala doesn’t have time for her.

Raksha Bandhan is directed by Aanand L Rai. The film will release in theatres on August 11. It would start streaming on Zee5 post its theatrical release.
