Rakhi Sawant’s ex-husband Adil Khan Durrani remarries a Bigg Boss contestant in low-key wedding? Here’s what we know

Not too long ago, Rakhi Sawant was struggling with her wedding to Adil Khan Durrani. Now, there are reports that he has remarried. Interestingly, it appears that he has tied the knot with a Bigg Boss contestant. His newly-married wife is a contestant from season 12, which Dipika Kakar had won. It is to be noted that Adil has not yet confirmed or denied the wedding.

Did Adil remarry?

Times Now has reported that Adil has gotten married again. This time, he has tied the knot with Somi Khan. A contestant on Bigg Boss 12, Somi is Saba Khan’s sister. Both the sisters were a part of the show, which also featured names like Sreesanth, Karanvir Bohra, Neha Pendse, Anup Jalota-Jasleena Matharu and Srishty Rode.

About the wedding

According to the report, Adil and Somi tied the knot in Mysore two days back i.e. on March 4. The wedding seems to be low-key, with only immediate family and a few friends being invited.

Rakhi and Adil

Rakhi Sawant had introduced Adil to the media. Adil would go out of his way to impress Rakhi back when they were dating and their mushy videos got fans and paparazzi happy that Rakhi finally found happiness. They eventually got married and Rakhi converted to Islam.

It was after their wedding that things changed 360 degrees for both involved. Rakhi accused Adil of extra-marital affair and appealed to the public for justice. This was at the time when her mother was diagnosed with cancer and Rakhi felt like her world shattered in front of her.

She took legal action against Adil, accusing him of domestic violence and mishandling her funds. At the same time, Adil accused Rakhi of keeping him in the blind about a previous marriage and pregnancy. The most recent development in the case is Rakhi receiving interim protection. Their case is ongoing in the sessions court.
