Raju Yadav teaser: Getup Srinu plays a confused man with a facial disorder

Getup Srinu, who shot to fame with his appearances on television and several comedy roles in mainstream films, is turning a lead with Raju Yadav. The rom-com is written and directed by Krishnamachary K and features Ankita Kharat as the female lead. The teaser of the film, produced by Prashanth Reddy under Sai Varunavi Creations, was launched today.

The teaser introduces the titular character Raju Yadav as an ordinary youngster, who is severely injured and is consulting a doctor. The injuries result in a unique facial disorder for the 20s something man, where he’s forced to smile constantly, owing to a disturbance in his jaw muscles. The situation turns embarrassing for Raju and he struggles to hide his face when a neighbour dies.

The doctor warns Raju that there may not be any immediate solution for his disorder and he has to find a way to deal with it. The focus shifts to his love life later with a girl gradually responding to his flirtatious advances. However, their relationship hits a roadblock owing to a misunderstanding. Raju finds himself amidst dramatic situations later and his equation with his parents go for a toss too.

Ananda Chakrapani, Rocket Raghava, Mirchi Hemanth, Jabardasth Sunny, Santosh Kalwacherla, Sriram, Kalyan Bhushan, Sree Mani, Pawon Ramesh, Uthara Prashanth, Avinash Sunkara, Sree Harsha Chaganty, Unnathi Netha, Sriram Reddy Ramidi and Prachi essay supporting roles in the film.

Raju Yadav is headed for a release in March 2023. Harshvardhan Rameshwar scores the music for the film which has cinematography by Sai Ram Uday and is edited by Bonthala Nageswara Reddy. Sri Nagendra Tangala is the production designer with Chandrabose, Kasarla Shyam, Purna Chary writing the songs. Ramakrishna and Jithu Master are the stunt director, choreographer respectively.
