Rajkummar Rao had a great year in 2022, which started with a bang. The actor played the role of a homosexual cop in Harshavardhan Kulkarni's Badhaai Do, opposite Bhumi Pednekar. Not just that, the talented actor left an impressive mark on everyone with his performance in Vasan Bala's Monica, O My Darling, which premiered on Netflix last year. Moreover, Rajkummar and Patralekhaa completed a year of marital bliss in November 2021.
During a recent interaction with the Free Press Journal, the Stree actor revealed who is more romantic among both of them. He told the portal that he is the romantic one, as he grew up watching Shah Rukh Khan movies. Thus, Rajkummar declared that he is more romantic than the superstar.
The actor went on to say that Patralekhaa has given him a lot of good fortune and it's helping them, actually. He also mentioned that goddesses Laxmi and Saraswati had returned home following their marriage.
While talking about his approach towards his films, Rajkummar revealed that he will not take up films for emotional reasons and never make a movie for money. The actor shared that, since there are friends involved and he agrees to be a part of the film, sometimes it becomes an emotional decision. Rajkummar has now made the decision to stop, and he feels that it is not good for himself or even for the movie when he's not fully committed to a project and doesn't believe in it.
The Omerta actor also revealed that it's difficult and demanding, and one must give it their best. There are so many people working so hard to make that film because someone is producing it and investing money in it, and nobody wants to make a bad movie. Everyone aspires to create a quality movie, so one makes an effort to provide their best, but occasionally one realises that this approach might backfire. There aren't many directors and producers among his friends.
Rajkummar added that he has no friends in the business. The actor has worked on a lot of projects with Hansal Mehta, but not out of friendship, because the filmmaker does bring interesting tales.
