Vishnu Vishal-starrer Lal Salaam, which is hitting the big screens on February 9, has heightened the excitement among fans ever since its trailer release. Actor Thambi Ramaiah, who has played a pivotal role in the film, shared his insights on the film at the audio and trailer launch event of the film which was released earlier. Speaking of Superstar Rajinikanth’s exciting cameo, the actor revealed that the Jailer star’s short appearance is the driving force of the film from the start to the end. He also revealed that the film will have several emotional scenes, and that audiences will get to witness Superstar’s impressive screen presence.  

The actor also appreciated the newcomers of the film, and promised that the film’s entertainment quotient will never disappoint the audience.

Lal Salaam trailer review - There’s cricket, religion and lots more

The much-anticipated trailer of the Aishwarya Rajinikanth directorial, that was unveiled yesterday, has thoroughly impressed the audience. The trailer opens with communal riots and features Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth from different communities. Rajinikanth's character Moideen Bhai wants his son Vikranth to excel in cricket, but Vishnu Vishal’s family is not on good terms with them. The trailer takes us through communal havoc and how the two people from the religion find peace forms the crux of the film. 

Apart from the lead cast, the film also stars Vignesh, Livingston, Senthil, Jeevitha, KS Ravikumar and Thambi Ramaiah in supporting roles.

Vishnu Vishal is all praise for Thalaivar’s cameo appearance

The Raatchasan star, who is thrilled over the release of the film, expressed his admiration for Thalaivar aka Rajinikanth’s cameo appearance in a recent promotional press event. “I am a big fan of Rajinikanth sir. After watching the film, I told him that as a fan, I was proud of him for doing a movie like this. Not everybody will find the kind of courage to act in such a film,” the actor elaborated. 

 The upcoming sports drama is all set to hit the big screens on February 9.
