Get ready to plug into your headphones and turn up the volume to catch a glimpse of the romance between superstar Rajinikanth and Nayanthara in the latest single of Annaatthe, titled Saara Kaattrae.
Saara Kaattrae is like a complete 360 degree circle of the duets of Rajinikanth and Nayanthara. It begins from their first ever single ‘Konja Neram’, to this. Of all the female leads paired opposite him after the 2000s, the lady superstar is one of the best who effortlessly pulled-off on-screen romance with Thalaiva. Saara Kaattrae is one such example. This song also transports us to a fantasy world with smoke-effects, huge wings and a large swing for the duo to sit in and romance. The combination of the vocals of Sid Sriram and Shreya Ghoshal is a deadly one. It effectively brings out the goosebump.
The music video seems to be set in the backdrop of a magical looking waterfall. Thalaiva and Thalaivi are later seen crooning to the track in the lilting vocals of the singers. As the song progresses, we get to see them walking in the fields of a rural area followed by a quirky montage of them taking a selfie among others.
Annaatthe’s first single Anaatthe Annaatthe, which featured Rajinikanth vibing to the beats of the song donning a white shirt and veshti, also released some time back. Listening to the vocals of late veteran singer SP Balasubramanyam makes it a bittersweet moment till the end of the song. The tunes of D Imman also never fail to impress fans.
Talking about Annaatthe, it is touted to be a rural entertainer where Rajinikanth serves as the village headman who is affectionately referred to as the titular name. Helmed by Siruthai Siva with the backing of Sun Pictures, the Thalaivar starrer is slated to come out in big screens on November 4. The festive season of Diwali is bound to get amped up now.
