It can surely be called a meeting of two legends as Superstar Rajinikanth and music director AR Rahman met each other. Aishwarya Rajinikanth, who is making her comeback as a director with Laal Salaam is said to be instrumental for the meeting of the legends. She later shared a picture of the two geniuses and wrote, ""When two amazing human beings meet and you happen to be the reason ..you are blessed and of course they are THE best! @arrahman sir @rajinikanth appa!" (sic) While Rajinikanth is seen in a black ensemble, AR Rahman looks dapper in a blue shirt. AR Rahman is scoring the music for the film and Aishwarya had recently shared a video of the jamming session.

Later, the Superstar also watched AR Rahman's directorial debut Le Musk. Rajinikanth experienced the virtual reality short by wearing the VR headsets,  seated on the immersive VR chair and seems to have thoroughly enjoyed the multi-sensory film. The cast includes Nora Arnezeder and Guy Burnet in lead roles, alongside Munirih Grace and Mariam Zohrabyan. The film that incorporates motion, music and scent in the narrative, provides the audience a cinematic sensory experience and had premiered at the Cannes XR program. The plot revolves around an orphaned heiress and part-time musician Juliet Merdinian. The heiress has a superpower and constant companion- the musk scent. The film was shot in 13 days using 14 cameras and around 10 VFX studios from around the world were involved in the post-production. The portions were canned in Rome. The original idea is said to be that of AR Rahman's wife, Saira's.
