The Ram Mandir of Ayodhya finally had its highly anticipated inauguration and consecration ceremonies, today. For the uninitiated, the ‘Pran Prathistha’ ceremony of the ‘Ram Lalla’ idol was held under the presence of Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, and a group of priests, today. The prestigious event was also attended by some of the most popular names in the Indian film industry, politics, and business fields. The temple is expected to be open for the public from Tuesday, January 23, 2024.

The legendary superstar was one of the distinguished invitees from the South film industry who attended the Pran Prathistha ceremony at Ayodhya’s Ram Temple. Rajinikanth who was seated in the front row of guests along with legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and others, looked handsome as always in a white kurta, which he paired with a pajama and shawl.
The National Award-winning actor was spotted among the South cinema celebrities who attended the prestigious event at Ayodhya, today. Dhanush, who was spotted in his signature look in a kurta and rudraksha necklace, was also reportedly seen having a chat with the celebrated Kannada actor-director Rishab Shetty. The pictures and videos of the Tamil and Kannada actors are now going viral on social media.
The Kantara star, on the other hand, attended the Ram Mandir Pran Prathistha ceremony along with his lovely wife, Pragathi Shetty. The couple, who reached Ayodhya a day early to attend the grand event, reportedly spent their time exploring the city. In one of his latest interviews, Rishab Shetty remarked that the invitation to attend the ‘Pran Prathistha’ ceremony of Ayodhya, is an opportunity of a lifetime.
Chiranjeevi Konidela, the megastar of Telugu cinema attended the grand event, along with his wife Surekha Konidela and son Ram Charan. The RRR’s actor’s wife Upasana Konidela, however, gave the event a miss as she is a new mom. Pawan Kalyan, the celebrated actor and younger brother of Chiranjeevi, was also spotted at the event. Before leaving for the event, the Bholaa Shankar actor, who is a great devotee of Lord Hanuman, stated that he feels extremely fortunate to attend the consecration ceremony of Ram Mandir. Ram Charan, on the other hand, stated that he has been waiting for this day for so long.
