Former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan, producer Vijay Moolan and Madhavan met the actor at his residence in Chennai

Actor Madhavan recently met Superstar Rajinikanth at his residence in Chennai. He was accompanied by the film's producer Vijay Moolan and former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan, on whom the biopic is based. Rajinikanth not only praised the team, but also honoured them. Madhavan called it a moment etched for eternity and said that his motivation has completely rejuvenated the team.
Madhavan shared a video of him taking Rajinikanth's blessings and wrote on his social media page, "When you get the blessings from a one man industry & the Leagend himself in the presence on @NambiNOfficial -it’s a moment etched for eternity-Thank you for you kindest words on #Rocketry & the affection @rajinikanth sir. This motivation has completely rejuvenated us. We love you (sic)." Last evening, a picture of Nambi Narayanan along with Vijay Moolan had done the rounds on the internet.
Rocketry: The Nambi Effect hit screens on July 1 and received positive reviews from the critics and audience. The film revolves around Nambi Narayanan's days at the Princeton University, his days as a scientist and the espionage charges against him. Rocketry was simultaneously filmed in Tamil, English and Hindi. The film marked Madhavan's directorial debut.
He also wrote the script and doubled up as the producer along with Varghese Moolan, Vijay Moolan and Sarita Birje. The star cast includes Madhavan, Simran, Rajit Kapur, Ravi Raghavendra, Misha Ghoshal, Mohan Raman, Karthik Kumar and Dinesh Prabhakar to name a few. While the music is by Sam CS, cinematography is by Sirsha Ray and editing is by Bijith Bala. The film also has Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya making special appearances in it. The Hindi version of the film is now streaming on Voot. The film was premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May. The film was a financial success at the box office.
