Rajendra Prasad to team up with his Ladies Tailore co-star Archana

In his illustrious career, Rajendra Prasad has played many memorable roles and one such film is Ladies Tailor. Directed by Vamshi, the movie was a blockbuster when it was out in theaters. Archana played the female lead in the flick. The interesting news is that after 37 years the Ladies' Tailor duo of Rajendra Prasad and Archana have joined hands for a film called Shastipoorthi.

MAA AAI Productions is producing the film, with Rupesh Kumar Chaudhary and Akanksha Singh as another lead pair. Directed by Pravan Prabha and produced by Rupesh Kumar Chaudhary, the pooja ceremony was completed today at Isaigyani Ilayaraja Studios, Chennai. The renowned producer RB Chaudhary of Super Good Films gave the clap.

Hero and producer Rupesh Kumar Chaudhary said, "I'm happy to get a chance to do a film with legends like Rajendra Prasad and Ilayaraja. There will be a total of four songs in this new-age family drama. The principal photography will start this month. We are preparing for the release of the film in July. We will reveal more details soon," he said.

Rajendra Prasad is mostly doing character roles in his second innings and is one of the busiest actors in Telugu cinema. He was last seen in Krishna Reddy's Organic Mama Hybrid Alludu which had Sohel as the main lead. He is super excited to do this film as he is teaming up with Archana after a very long time.
