Rajasekhar, who was last seen in the Jeevitha Rajasekhar directorial Shekar last year, is back in action with an extended cameo in this week’s release Extra Ordinary Man. Nithiin, Sreeleela play the lead roles in the film directed by popular writer Vakkantham Vamsi and produced by Sreshth Movies. The pre-release event of the film was held today, where Rajasekhar spoke at length about his role.
Apparently director Vakkantham Vamsi, out of nowhere, approached him to be a part of the film and convinced him. “He felt I would do justice to it. I also thank Nithiin and producer Sudhakar Reddy for the opportunity. I am surprised how he came up with the Jeevitham-Jeevitha dialogue in the trailer. It is a special appearance, I’ll have little screen time but audiences need to tell me how well I did it,” he said.
Though everyone presumes that I dance to Jeevitha’s tunes, it’s actually the other way round, the actor said on a jovial note. “She is a wonderful woman and has never questioned me about anything to date. Even if Jeevitha tells something to me, I listen because she means it only for my well-being. The director used the Jeevitha reference smartly and it has captured everyone’s attention now.”
Apparently, the popular dialogue in the trailer was improvised by Vakkantham Vamsi, Nithiin on the spot. Rajasekhar stated he was very happy as long as he worked on Extra Ordinary Man. “Nithiin, Sreeleela make for a good pair and I wish the success for the team. Sreeleela and I (both medical students) have come to an agreement about not discussing anything about medicine(laughs),” he signed off.
Meanwhile, Rajasekhar’s better half Jeevitha opined that Extra Ordinary Man will be a feast for family audience, without violence, gore or bloodshed. “The director has exceeded our expectations and I was smiling as long as I heard the script,” she stated. Interestingly, Extra Ordinary Man’s producer Sudhakar Reddy kickstarted his career as a distributor with Rajasekhar’s hit Magadu.
