Rajamouli-Mahesh Babu film to be made in multiple parts, confirms writer Vijayendra Prasad

Rajamouli is busy scripting for this new film with Mahesh Babu along with his writer dad Vijayendra Prasad. There is not much info on the film as Rajamouli and his team are nowhere to be seen at events these days. But in an interview to a leading daily, Vijayendra Prasad has finally opened up about the film and its status.

When asked about the update on the script, the ace writer said that the scripting will be done by the end of July and then the pre-production will start. Prasad also adds that the script has come out quite well and the film will be on international standards. As per the update from the writer, the shooting will start from the first half of 2024. Some big names from Hindi cinema will also be playing key roles in the film.

But one of the most interesting aspects which the writer revealed was about the Mahesh Babu film having an open ending. "It will be an adventure-action drama, with lots of emotions, like Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981). We’re leaving the climax open-ended, which opens the door to a sequel,” he said. Well, this gives an idea that Rajamouli is planning this film in multiple parts.

Rajamouli has roped in a popular casting agency from the US as he wants some big names to be a part of this film which will be made in multiple languages. For now, the news about Mahesh Babu is busy with the shooting of his new film Guntur Kaaram which has kick started a new schedule now.
