Raj & DK's recent prolific run has yielded multiple super successful shows such as The Family Man, Farzi and the more recent Guns & Gulaabs on Netflix. The director duo has come to own the Indian OTT space and the two are already signed on to make two more web shows, Gulkanda Tales (as creators, writers and producers) and the Indian spin-off of the Citadel series, starting Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

In the same vein, we now hear that Raj & DK are in talks with Marvel Studios for a superhero film that they would be writing along with long-time writing partner, Sita Menon.

Yep, you heard that right. According to Pinkvilla, Raj & DK and Sita Menon who have worked together on a number of films in the past, including 99, Shor in the City and Farzi (along with Suman Kumar), have impressed Marvel with their unique "flavour" and are said to be in discussions to work on a new superhero origin story for the mega studio. Raj & DK, adds the report, have been commissioned for the aforementioned task and the duo, along with Sita Menon, is currently busy developing the story. However, it isn't clear at this point whether the two would be brought on board to direct the said movie.

Turns out, Raj & DK were introduced to Marvel Studios by The Russo Brothers who are working closely with the Indian director duo on Citadel. The Russo Brothers, who have closely worked with Marvel on four different films - Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame - serve as the executive producers on Citadel with Joe Russo set to direct the entire second season.

Citadel will also feature spin-off shows set in the Italian Alps, India, Spain and Mexico.
