Raj Chakraborty: Father means courage, security, someone who will cover us

Many Tollywood celebrities talked about their fathers on Father’s Day. Raj Chakraborty recently talked about his father Krishna Shankar Chakraborty and his son Yuvaan in an interview. He also talked about Yuvaan getting a sibling. 

In an interview with Anandabazar, Raj said, “Father means courage, security, someone who will cover us.” Raj said he became what he is due to his parents. Hence he does not object to celebrating a special day for parents. 

Raj said, “The ways in which I was grown by my father and the ways in which I raise Yuvaan are different. Two persons are different, their time and views are different. I am trying to give those things to Yuvaan which I did not get from my father. There is a difference between my fatherhood and my father’s fatherhood.” 

According to Raj, a good father is someone who understands his kid and never imposes anything on the kid. He thinks that fathers should also give time. Mothers do a lot of things starting from giving birth, but fathers also have responsibilities. That was why they shared the news of Yuvaan's coming by writing, “We are pregnant.” He talked about Subhashree and said that they are good friends, good guardians, and good partners. Raj said that they want to give a good environment and value to Yuvaan, and will never demand anything from him. Raj said 'Yuvaan is like a toy to both of us. We embrace him a lot, though he does not love anyone else except his mother's embrace. The environment at home changed completely after he came. We stay like parents, not celebrities, with Yuvaan.' 

Raj also said, “Yuvaan’s world revolves around his mother. He has become a don like his mom (he said that jokingly). He has got Subhasree’s energy.” Raj said that Subhasree loves children and hence they want Yuvaan to get siblings.
