Raima Sen on Kolonko: Sahana Dutta is a brilliant creator known for her impactful storytelling

Raima Sen is one of the actresses who was involved in initial projects in the Bengali OTT industry. In 2017, she tied up with Sahana Dutta and worked in Hello! The series which also features Joy Sengupta and Priyanka Sarkar had three consecutive seasons. After that, Raima worked with Sahana in Zee5’s Roktokorobi. Now, Raima is back again on Hoichoi. She will be seen in Kolonko – yet another project by Sahana Dutta. The look of the actress was dropped recently on her birthday.

An excited Raima commented, “I am really excited about this look reveal since it’s my official return to Hoichoi. Sahana Dutta is a brilliant creator known for her impactful storytelling and immersive world. Hope this brings up the anticipation for the series.”

Kolonko will be directed by Abhimanyu Mukherjee. Raima will play the character of the lead – Chaiti – a mother and wife. The story delves into the life of Chaiti and Rangan who were college best friends and are now married and parents to two children. The deal for their progressive and happy married life was to always be transparent and truthful to each other even if they had any flings with someone else. They had a deal that none of them would lie to each other, even if they fell in love with somebody else. Truth and friendship come first. But as they stand at the 20th year of their married life, the truth starts becoming unbearable to Chaiti eventually as Rangan tells Chaiti that he has fallen for someone else. Along with this deal breaker, there a sudden mysterious death.
