One of the most awaited among them is Raid 2, a film that has been highly anticipated across the country since its announcement. Taking the story forward from the first film, director Raj Kumar Gupta returns with Devgn to narrate the story of his 75th raid. This time, the man against Ajay Devgn is Riteish Deshmukh, who plays the antagonist. The makers have now released the first teaser of the movie. Read on to know everything you should about the same.

The teaser captures the strength of Patnaik, whose mere presence is a threat to those who have done—or are doing—wrong. It introduces us to the premise of his next raid as he enters a new setting, where he must now fight Dada Bhai, an influential figure. The teaser features a powerful dialogue exchange between the two, setting the stage for the ultimate battle.

Raj Kumar Gupta On Raid 2

In an exclusive chat, when asked about Raid 2 and the direction the story takes, Raj Kumar Gupta was quick to say: "I cannot tell you where the story is going right now. That is something we will discuss closer to the release. I can tell you that the movie is currently in the editing stage. We have wrapped up filming, and right now, we are in the process of editing. So, for now, that’s all I can share about Raid 2."

Speaking about Ajay Devgn, we discussed how the star was simultaneously shooting for Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again and Raj Kumar Gupta’s Raid 2. When asked if he ever had to remind the actor that he was on the Raid set and not Singham, Gupta said:

"No, yaa, this never happens. Since the first Raid, I have realized that he is a very intelligent actor, and he knows exactly what kind of film he is doing. He is always in character, no matter which role he is playing. He comes to set fully prepared—he is well aware of the film, the setting, and the milieu of the story."

Raid 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar. The film is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series and is a Panorama Studios production.
