Years later, he participated in Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 14. The singer was the first runner-up of the reality show. During his BB 14 stint, Vaidya formed a good friendship with Aly Goni and Jasmin Bhasin.
Cut to today, Rahul put up a tweet on X (formerly Twitter) and revealed why friendships from Bigg Boss house don't last in real life.

Rahul Vaidya took to his official X account and wrote, "Some people are asking me why relationships/friendships of big boss don’t last ?? Areee bhai Tv ki dosti tv ki hi hoti hai! How can it be real if its foundation is only not real ?? Wo sab “seasonal” friendships/relationships hoti hain! FACT! (sic)." Rahul's tweet has left netizens wondering about whose Bigg Boss friendship he is referring to.

Rahul Vaidya, Disha Parmar blessed with baby girl
Rahul Vaidya and his wife Disha Parmar were blessed with a baby girl on September 20, 2023. Back in Bigg Boss 14, Rahul had mentioned that he always wanted a girl as his first child.
Sharing the good news with his fans, Rahul wrote on Instagram, "LAXMI Ji aayi hain We are blessed with a Baby GIRL! The mummy and baby both are healthy and doing perfectly well! We would like to thank our Gynaec @dhruptidedhia who was hands on with the baby right since conceiving to birth and special thanks to our family @dnamjoshi & @masuuma at @criticareasiahospitals for giving us the best delivery experience possible! And we are elated! pls bless the baby (sic)."
Rahul got married to Disha in 2021.
