Keerthy Suresh, who was last seen in the Tamil movie Siren, is all set to headline the upcoming film Raghu Thatha. The film is set to hit the big screens on August 15, to cash in on the long Independence Day weekend. The makers had released the trailer for the film recently. Once the film completes its theatrical run, here is where you can stream it.

On wednesday, the makers of Raghu Thatha released the trailer for fthe film. Keerthy Suresh will be headlining Raghu Thatha, which is set to release in theaters on August 15. While the film will be capitalising on the weekend, ZEE5 has bagged the post-theatrical to thetheatresWednesdayrights of the film. Raghu Thatha will be available on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium after the film completes its theatrical run. An OTT release date of the film is yet to be announced by the makers.
Raghu Thatha is backed by Hombale Films, a Karnataka-based production banner which has bankrolled films like KGF and Salaar. The upcoming film will mark their debut in Tamil. Written and directed by Suman Kumar in his maiden directorial, Raghu Thatha is expected to be a political satire film.

MS Bhaskar, Ravindra Vijay, Devadarshni, Jayakumar, Rajeev Ravindranathan, Anandsami, Rajesh Balachandran, Ismath Banu, Aadhira Pandilakshmi, Janaki, and Chu Khoy Sheng star in the movie. KS Mippu, Mukesh, and Manoj Kumar Kalaivanan are the other cast members. Raghu Thatha has cleared censor formalities with a U certificate.
The film was shot by cinematographer Yamini Yagnamurthy, who also shot Keerthy's Saani Kaayidham. Raghu Thatha has music scored by Sean Roldan and TS Suresh has handled the editing. Raghu Thatha will clash at the box office with Vikram and Pa Ranjith’s Thangalaan and the horror thriller Demonte Colony.
Meanwhile, Keerthy Suresh is part of Revolver Rita, Baby John and Kannivedi, which are in different stages of production.
