Raghava Lawrence's brother Elviin to debut with KS Ravikumar film

Choreographer-actor-producer-director Raghava Lawrence's brother Elviin, will make his acting debut with KS Ravikumar's film, which is headlined by Raghava Lawrence. The untitled film, bankrolled by Trident Arts, is a commercial entertainer. Sources say that the remaining cast and crew members will be finalised soon, and the shooting will begin, after a month.

Notably, Elviin was seen in Kanchana 2's Sillatta Pillatta song, alongside his brother. Last year, it was announced that Elviin will be debuting as a hero in a film directed by Raja, and backed by Raghavendra productions. According to reports, the project was expected to go on floors post-lockdown. Considering that the Ravikumar-directorial is being projected Elviin's first film, the other film must have been shelved, owing to unknown reasons.

KS Ravikumar's last directorial was the Telugu film Ruler, starring Balakrishna and Vedika in lead roles. On the acting front, the director was also seen in Koogle Kuttappa.

Raghava Lawrence has multiple projects in his kitty, including Rudhran, Chandramukhi 2, Durga, Adhigaaram, and so on. Rudhran is directed by Kathiresan. The film, which has Priya Bhavani Shankar cast opposite Lawrence, also features Sarath Kumar, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Nasser and many others. It was recently announced that Raghava Lawrence will headline the sequel to Chandramukhi, which is directed by P Vasu.

After the stunt choreographer duo Anbariv opted out of directing Durga, the project went to Lawrence himself. Apart from these, the actor will feature in Adhigaaram. Directed by Durai Senthil Kumar, this one has music by Thaman. The composer has previously worked with Raghava Lawrence in films like the Kanchana franchise and Shivalinga.

Adhigaaram marks the fifth collaboration of the actor-composer duo. The makers are yet to announce the female lead and the rest of the case for the project. In addition to penning the film, Vetrimaaran is co-producing it under Grass Root Film Company, in association with S Kathiresan of Five Star Creations LLP.
