Mahira Khan, the popular Pakistani actor who has appeared in Raees opposite Shah Rukh Khan and the hit Pakistani series Humsafar with Fawad Khan, recently tied the knot for the second time. There are now several images and videos of the actor available online. The actor married Salim Karim, a businessman, at a ceremony held in Pakistan.

Her manager, Anushay Talha Khan, posted a clip on Instagram showing Mahira making her way down the aisle towards Salim. In the video, the groom can be seen wiping away tears. Salim approached her as well, and she removed her white sheer veil. Salim visibly moved, kissed Mahira on the forehead, and gave her a bear hug. A teary-eyed bride was also spotted cuddling up to her groom, Salim.
Mahira wore a pastel lehenga and veil for her big day. Diamonds were her choice for her jewellery as well, which she wore in pairs. Salim had chosen the black sherwani, which he wore with a blue turban. The couple tied the knot in an outdoor ceremony held in Murree, Pakistan.

According to Tribune, Mahira reportedly revealed that she is dating Salim during an interview with Samina Peerzada. In 2022, the actor smiled and nodded when asked if she was in love. She said that she really does believe she is in love. The actor also revealed that she is too shy to talk about it. She had also revealed that her partner is not from an entertainment background.
Professional front:
On the work front, Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo, a Netflix original series co-starring Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed, is her forthcoming project. According to Variety, the drama is the streaming service's first original focused on Pakistan and is an adaptation of a best-selling Urdu novel by Farhat Ishtiaq from 2013. The plot follows Sikandar, a Harvard law student who has experienced a traumatic event that has caused him to withdraw from others, and Liza, a gifted artist who is full of life despite her turbulent history.
Hamza Ali Abbasi, Bilal Ashraf, Maya Ali, Iqra Aziz, Hania Aamir, Khushaal Khan, Nadia Jamil, Omair Rana, and Samina Ahmed are also scheduled to appear in the Netflix series. The series is being produced in Italy, the United Kingdom, and Pakistan, with Momina Duraid as the showrunner.
