The actor also said, "Shooting for a TV builds your endurance, whereas shooting for movies feels like a luxury."

Radhika Madan's comments regarding her time in the TV industry landed her in hot water twice. The actor who made her name on the TV show Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi (2014) was mocked for the first time when she opened up about the challenges she faced on the show and then again when she allegedly made a "U-turn" by praising the industry, for which she was widely criticised.
Radhika explained the events that had taken place by telling ETimes that people were reacting to half the information. The question she was asked during the interview was completely lost on them. It breaks one's heart that much. When asked why she stopped working on television, the actor claimed she responded honestly. Radhika will never back down from what she said or hide the circumstances that prompted the change.
Since her debut film, Pataakha (2018), she has been saying the same thing. The actor just doesn't get why all of a sudden it's a big deal. Concerning the about-face, she will give TV credit for all it has done for her. This experience shaped her into the person she is today. The actor couldn't ask for a better acting program than this one. She said one can accomplish anything in the world once they have worked in television.
Radhika said that shooting for TV builds one's endurance, while shooting for films feels like a luxury, while explaining why she prefers working on film and web projects. She needs a lot of preparation time, and she also requires some downtime. Therefore, she simply favours alternative media, such as movies or OTT. That doesn't make one superior to the other, though. It is Radhikha's sincere wish that everyone will accept her decision. No one should judge her if she doesn't judge others' perspectives.
Radhika, when asked about the criticism she's received for starting out on television, said that she never dreamed of becoming an actor. After being discovered on social media, she was invited to an audition and eventually cast in the show. Working on the show was where she really realised what she wanted to do professionally. It was an impromptu action. The actor didn't start out on television before moving on to feature films. She simply outgrew the phase. It's possible that she just can't pull off a satisfying performance while on the move.
Radhika concluded by saying that TV is a medium that touches the public; it gets a lot of affection, and she has experienced that love. The actor could have gotten a house a lot sooner if she hadn't stopped making TV shows. The media had a huge role in making her famous overnight. She appreciates the recognition, but thankfully, she never became obsessed with it. Instead, she became devoted to her trade and now had an advantage over her competitors.
