One of the most highly anticipated films of the year, Radhe Shyam, has finally hit the big screen today. With how palpable the hype for the film has been it was no wonder that fans have flocked to theatres to watch it, and have already taken to Twitter to express how they felt about it.
Most of the responses to Prabhas and Pooja Hegde’s film seem to be overwhelmingly positive. Twitter users lauded the film, picking out what they found to be the most appealing about it, be it the visuals, story or the stellar performances. ‘Mindblowing’ and ‘masterpiece’, were some of the words used to decribe the film. One user even said that the film’s script was ‘executed with perfection’.
Prabhas’ and Hegde were praised by many for their brilliant performances and chemistry in the film. While one user said that Prabhas could bring Indian cinema to ‘the level of Hollywood’ with his charisma, another remarked that Hegde was the ‘heart and soul’ of the film.
The beauty of the film’s visuals and cinematography was not lost on viewers either. A lot of users pointed to how visually stunning the movie was. A user referred to the camerawork as a’painting’ and one even called it ‘visual poetry’.
The film’s director Radha Krishna Kumar was also the subject of praise, along with S Thaman’s soundtrack. The filmmaker was appreciated for his excellent direction and ‘beautiful’ story, while Thaman’s ‘soothing’ tracks was lauded as well.
Many users also admitted that they had teared up after watching the film. Die-hard Prabhas fans talked about how they could not contain their emotions seeing the star in the film.
Radhe Shyam also features Bhagyashree, Krishnam Raju, Jagapathi Babu, Sachin Khedekar, Priyadarshi and Kunaal Roy Kapur. The film has been produced by UV Creations, Gopi Krishna Movies and T-Series.
