Radha Mohan's Chutney Sambar stars Yogi Babu and Vani Bhojan, makers announce direct release on Hotstar

Radha Mohan, who recently made SJ Surya-starrer Bommai, is set to make his digital debut. The acclaimed filmmaker's latest project, Chutney Sambar, a web series, will be dropping on Disney+ Hotstar. The platform has officially announced the same with a picture of some of the crew members posing for a photo.

Yogi Babu and Vani Bhojan play lead roles in the project that stars Chandramouli, Ilango and Nithin Sathyaa in notable roles. Isari K Ganesh of Vels Film International has produced the series that has Prasanna S Kumar cranking the camera and Jijendran handling editing. 

Ajesh has been roped in to compose music, Pon Parthiban is penning dialogues and Kadhirr is at the helm of art direction. The team is expected to reveal other details soon. Yogi Babu has played lead roles in many films, including Bommai Nayagi which was released this year, and only a few of them have turned out to be notable ones.

Cinephiles are curious to know what Radha Mohan is coming up with this time around. His last outing Bommai garnered below average reviews and ended up as a failure at the box office.

Vani Bhojan, on the other hand, was last seen in Paayum Oli Nee Yenakku. Her next release is Love which has her teaming up with Bharath for the second time after Miral. The actress was seen in OTT projects Sengalam, Tamil Rockerz and Triples earlier.

She has worked with Radha Mohan in Malaysia to Amnesia which had a direct release on Zee5 in 2021. However, the film wasn't intended to be a direct-to-OTT release.
