SonyLIV (OTTPlay Premium) is coming with a new web series, Raat Jawaan Hai on October 11. Directed by Sumeet Vyas, the web series will explore the theme of balancing friendship during the initial stages of parenthood. In the series, Barun Sobti will be seen playing a doting father (Avinash) to his daughter Rahi. Ahead of the release, the streaming platform shared a new promo featuring Barun performing daddy duties as Avinash.

A while ago, SonyLIV shared a new promo of the upcoming new web series Raat Jawaan Hai on their Instagram account. The clip features Barun Sobti as Avinash who is a father to his little daughter Rahi. The video shows how he is a stay at home dad and performing all his daddy duties to his kid like a pro.

Sharing the video, they captioned the post, "Here’s Avinash, the stay-at-home dad defying norms! He is Rahi’s go-to person for all things baby! Raat Jawaan Hai is streaming from 11th October, only on Sony LIV!"

Meanwhile, apart from Barun, the cast also features Priya Bapat and Anjali Anand in the main roles as the series is a tale of these three friends juggling between friendships and parenthood. 

Barun Sobti on playing Avinash in Raat Jawaan Hai

In an exclusive chat with OTTPlay, Barun revealed the challenges he faced while shooting for Raat Jawaan Hai. 

The actor shared, "It was very challenging for me because I had to act with a small baby who is one year old. We had to give away to our fundamentals sometimes and feel really guilty. Because we had to get the shot but the baby was not willing. So, that was a challenge for me."

He further added that he liked the way Raat Jawaan Hai was written. Speaking about signing up for the project Sobti said that he decided to take up the show because he thought it was a 'novel space' to get into and also because Barun believes people are focusing now on 'thrillers, serious events and real-life stories'.

The trailer of the upcoming series Raat Jawaan Hai promises a chaotic journey as adulthood collides with the challenges of parenthood. It offers a glimpse into the lives of three best friends navigating the unpredictable world of raising kids. They balance careers, friendships, and parenthood with a daily dose of adorable and heartwarming family moments. 

Sharing the trailer, the streaming platform captioned it, "When adulting crashes into the chaos of parenthood, all bets are off! Raat Jawaan Hai will take you through the unpredictable lives of three besties—Radhika, Avinash, and Suman, as they embark on the wildest adventure of all: raising kids."
